Joe Lynch is working hard for Piccadilly
Three separate litter campaigns were launched in our city in the last 12 months alone.
Looking around at our filthy streets, you would be right to ask: "what's changed?"
We also need to encourage more people to give up driving in to the city centre, but we won't succeed as long as our poorly maintained pavements squirt jets of dirty water for days after it has rained. Labour did not spend all of the money from the highways budget last year, we say there should have been investment in city centre cycling infrastructure and to make our streets fit for walking on yearround.
A vote for Joe would be a vote for a committed, concerted, year-long crusade to make the streets where we live fit for a proud city.
Joe lives in the city centre and doesn't own a car, so he shares your issues,
